Arfak Chondros

The Arfak Mountains surround the Manokwari area. They demonstrate several traits associated with highland animals such as melanism. Nearly all the neonates we've seen are red. Many Arfaks demonstrate cool blue undertones, and prominent cream dorsal diamonds, often bordered by black.

Female Arfak on Loan from Ryan Burke

This female was procured by Ryan of Clockwork Reptile Company from Bushmasters as a red neonate import. She has produced 97 baby chondros for us (all red!) from four different sires. She has produced dozens of outstanding offspring including melanistics, high blues, yellow diamonds, and many other unique phenotypes. Truly an amazing animal and a icon in the world of chondros. After producing almost 100 offspring, she has been retired and is back in the care of Clockwork Reptile Company.
